The Tseung Kwan O 137 Fill bank is located in Fat Tong O, previously named Junk Bay. This reclaimed area temporarily has since 2002 hosted the public “fill bank”, a depository of surplus reusable fill and construction material. The long-term use of the site is under current consideration. (Wong, 2021) The fill bank is currently equipped with sorting facilities to process a range of construction and demolition materials deposited there which are most often used in reclamation projects.
