Process-driven material

The extracted soil from a construction site at HKU campus consists almost entirely of sand. To improve plasticity, 25% clay and 10% grinded tissue paper were added to the mix. After compressing, the bricks were dried in a climate chamber at 80°C for about 30 minutes.
