This tile explores the melting point of crushed recycled glass as an additive to ceramic glaze. The tile consists of recycled clay mixed with 30% crushed glass fragments and 20% white glaze for the textured surface and coloring. The tile was fired at 986°C for 16 hours. The glass fragments melted with the glaze, creating bubbles during the firing process resulting an organic pattern and glossy finishing for the tile.
