Reclaimed Pottery Clay

Within the studio course work at the University of Hong Kong's Division of Landscape Architecture students were asked to create landscape site models out of unfired pottery clay. During this iterative approach the clay was manipulated and reshaped into different landscapes. After the studio review the clay models were dried and broken apart into clay pieces that could then be re-used in other making exercises. While the origin of the clay is most likely not Hong Kong the potential for re-looping it's material trajectory within Hong Kong is one that should be explored.
