Ooobject Eco-material

This collection of material samples is provided by OOOBJECT, a Hong Kong based company that redirects waste byproducts from factories into building products. Materials that are typically considered as 'waste' or 'leftovers' such as nutshells, seeds from fruits, coffee grounds, fish bone and lobster shell are used as an aggregate and mixed with a binder. The resultant finished material gains its colour and pattern from the source, reminding the user of the material origin.
