Process-driven material

Kiwi skin leather is created with dried kiwi skin and agar-agar-based bioplastic. Before applying to the kiwi skin, the agar-agar-based bioplastic was tested repeatedly to produce a transparent film which has a high elasticity and is not brittle. The bioplastic film is applied to the kiwi skin as a protective layer to avoid curling up. No moulding occurs after applying the bioplastic, it is assumed this is because of the anti-oxidants contained in the kiwi skin.
