Coconut fibre is used as an aggregate in concrete to test its suitability as reinforcement. Twelve samples were obtained by adding coconut fibre of 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5 cm in length and 1%, 1.5% and 2% in mass to concrete in random and regular arrangements.
