This sample was found halfway up the road to the Lung Fu Shan morning trail. The material, Chunam, is widely used across Hong Kong as a slope protection strategy. It is composed of cement, hydrated lime, non-organic soil, and water to form a durable and impermeable barrier. This fragment has, like many others of its kind, broken off from the larger whole.
